Conducted from 24th of August 2025 to 9th of September 2025, BESTS continues to serve as a premier platform for fostering international collaboration and sustainable business innovation. The 2025 program successfully brought together a diverse cohort of 34 students, representing Sampoerna University, the Institute of Science Tokyo, and Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia.
Throughout the Stage 2, participants engaged in high-level workshops led by distinguished practitioners, including Beni Suryadi (Department Head of Power, Fossil Fuel, Alternative Energy and Storage of the ASEAN Centre for Energy), alongside expert faculty from Sampoerna University and Institute of Science Tokyo. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, students participated in immersive site visits, ranging from sustainable infrastructure at the TPS 3R Siaga Pasar Minggu waste facility and the ASEAN Centre for Energy, to cultural landmarks such as Istiqlal Mosque and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.
